The Crane Association of New Zealand’s annual awards, are designed to recognise excellence in our industry. Lifting the standard in our industry is at the forefront of the awards, which celebrate those striving to improve their own practices and those of the industry. The awards categories are:

Project or Lift of the Year Award
To recognise excellence and innovation in the crane industry in New Zealand. The Project and Lift of the Year is open to all members of the Association and are the most highly contested awards. |
Crane Training Company of the Year Award
Are you an outstanding training company (non-PTE) with current crane trainees? Gain the recognition you deserve for being the mentors and leaders of New Zealand’s crane industry. |

Crane Trainer of the Year Award
Do you know a trainer who shows outstanding commitment and support to crane trainees? Nominate them now to give them the recognition and prestige they deserve. |
PTE Crane Trainer of the Year Award
Do you know a PTE based trainer who shows outstanding commitment and support to crane trainees? Nominate them now to give them the recognition and prestige they deserve. |

People's Choice Award
The People's choice award is decided during the 2023 Crane Conference and is voted on by delegates. Finalists from both the Project and Lift of the year awards categories automatically become finalists for the People's Choice. |
Best Booth Award
The Best Booth Award is decided at the 2023 Crane Conference and is a voted on by delegates attending (for indoor exhibition stands). |

Crane Leader of the Year
This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise a leading figure within the industry. A person who is working to be a leader in their field, whether it be quality, safety, innovation or another area. This person is leading the way and deserves recognition. Nominate them today. |
Crane Trainee of the Year Award
A good trainee stands out because they are open to learn, reliable and have a great attitude. Know someone who was just made for the job and is excelling in their training? Nominate them today. |

Never entered before? It can be daunting to put forward your work to be judged by others but often people find the process of entering is rewarding in itself. Please contact CANZ if you would like advice on what to include in your submission. Your entries don't have to feature the biggest gear or best photos to be judged winners.
