About the Crane Association

Structure

The annual conference is the governing body of the Crane Association. Members attending each conference elect a Council to control the Association's affairs and activities.

The Council consists of seven Full Members (elected by Full Members or the authorised representatives of Full Member firms) and two Associate Members (elected from within their ranks). The Immediate Past President is an automatic Council appointment. The full Council comprises: The annual conference is the governing body of the Crane Association. • Vice President
• Immediate Past President
• Five Councillors
• Two Associate representatives.

A Chief Executive, appointed by the Council, manages the affairs of the Association.

The Association has strong and cordial links with key statutory and other bodies.
